Development of embedded automatic transplanting system in seedling transplanters for precision agriculture

Abstract Hand transplanting of vegetable seedlings is always been a time consuming and labourious activity which often leads to muscular fatigue. Use hitech instrumentation increased achieve precision automation in agricultural operations. At present the done manually accounts for large amount hand labour time. To ensure timeliness operation, an automatic based on embedded system use seedling transplanters was developed. The developed consists feed roller, pro-tray belt, pair L-shaped rotating fingers, system, DC stepper motor. plug were released into furrow with by actuating as well performances tested rigorously at four different operating speeds (1.0, 1.5, 2.0 2.5 km/h) three angles roller (00, 300, 450) attaining optimum plant spacing soil bin. result indicated that percent found 2.0 km/h forward speed 300 angle roller. average spacing, efficiency, closer, inclination miss planting 600 mm, 91.7%, 90.3%, 18.30 2.1%, respectively. ensures sigulating placement sustainable agriculture production. It also enabled rate, ability transplant higher maintaining proper spacing.
